Fish Scale Patterned Stained Glass Window Panel

During a day-trip to the Getty Museum in Malibu last summer - I photographed many of the Ancient Roman artifacts.

One of the items that caught my attention was a brass panel that was placed over the doorway. This pattern is shown in the first photograph.

So of course I captured the image with the intention of making a stained glass panel using this shape.

I uploaded the photos and forgot about them.

Until, that is, I came upon some pretty yellow/green rippled glass. I thought immediately of the fish scale pattern.

Using the complimentary colors of dark purple, vibrant red and a deep royal blue, I made this medium sized glass panel.
