Bernie in the Backyard

Out in the backyard is an old playhouse that would entertain my kids, nieces and nephews for hours on end.

Now that all the kids have grown and moved away - I keep the old playhouse back there to remember how much fun it was to hear the kids playing and laughing.

Well Bernie decided that the old playhouse was the perfect spot for the alpha kitty to sit and keep an eye out for predators, bugs and other things that may threaten her little world.

Now she sits up on top of the 'patio' and watches the kids walk home from school.

Sometimes I think I can still hear the kids playing back there.
