A day at the Ballpark
What is better on a hot summer day than enjoying a game of baseball at the ballpark?
Nothing is better than that!
While we were visiting some friends in California we went to the L.A. Dodgers vs. Arizona Diamondbacks game.
Of course the Diamondbacks won.
It was a great day to watch baseball. Justin Upton made his debut appearance. Minus a few rookie mistakes - he did a pretty good job for a 19-year old kid. It was fun to see Louis Gonzales again.
The Dodgers fans made it very clear that they didn't like Diamondback fans in their section. When my husband (wearing his Diamondbacks Jersey) left his seat to get a cold beverage - the fans let him know how they felt about him being there.
Oh yeah - a fight broke out between a woman and her husband. Both were taken away in handcuffs. Of course they were Dodgers fans.
Jose Valverde was scanning the crowd for some Arizona fans. Upon seeing my husbands Sedona Red shirt - he gave him the thumbs up and a wave. Thanks Jose!
It was a real treat to see the Dodgers stadium. There is history there that one can feel.
The Diamondbacks showed their talent and won the series.
Those guys in Sedona Red are my favorite boys of summer.
