The first photo was taken as I opened the kiln at about 600*. I only had time for one quick shot because it gets pretty hot in there.
The funny looking things on the kiln shelf are soon-to-be necklaces and pendants. I am picking up a new tool from the supplier tomorrow so I'll be having lots of fun tomorrow night playing with my glass.
Yes, I said GLASS.
The second photo is a pretty beveled glass cluster that is nearly finished.
It is almost three feet long and is absolutely beautiful.
Even in pieces - it was throwing little rainbows of color throughout the room.
