Peace Swap with Scotland

On the soldering station. Pieces of glass are taped together with copper then soldered together to create an image. Once every piece of glass is in place, the piece will be coated with a dark patina finish.

Patina is added to the glass and solder to give it an antique or vintage look. Soon a chain will be added then cleaned and polished.

(Hanging in Scotland)

Etsy Peace Swap - this is a project I am involved with where artists from throughout the world swap something in the name of Peace.

This piece is crafted to pay honor to Robert The Bruce of Scotland.

Posted above is the finished piece. All the glass is cleaned, polished and buffed to a beautiful shine. Soon this piece will be on it's way to Scotland.

Hi, I am the very lucky recipient of this piece and my husband and I are overwhelmed at Vicki's talent. We cannot wait to receive this and put it in place in our hallway that is dedicated to Scottish history. We will send Vicki a photo and perhaps she will post it.
I must away and make Vicki's piece which is in pieces on my worktable at the minute.
Thanks a million Vicki
