Rocky Point Beach

During a quick family weekend to Rocky Point / Puerto Penasco, Mexico -- my daughter and I were taking a walk down to the beach to watch the waves crash onto the shoreline.

As the sun began its decent into the western sky -- the shadows became longer and longer.

This photo is of my daughter and myself standing next to each other with the lazy shadows following us.

Strawberry Margaritas

Mmmmmm - strawberry margaritas.

For the last night of our celebration in Mexico - the entire group of us went out to dinner at a restaurant called The Point. Not only does this restaurant sit out in the Sea of Cortez on top of pylons - it offers a spectacular view of the Old Port of Puerto Penasco.

The photograph of the strawberry margaritas was taken just as the sun was beginning it's descent into the western sky. The glasses were cool and the air was slightly warm so the margaritas tasted very good.

Sitting down to dinner in front of the large picture window - a pirate ship set out for it's evening cruise. Set against the golden sunset - it was a beautiful moment.
