As I was looking through some photographs I took during a vacation I took to New York City with my husband - I wanted to make an abstract stained glass panel of the city.

So I chose some very colorful glass with various shades and textures to build the tall buildings. The moon is made from a golden yellow rippled mirror which shines like the full moon.

The sky is made from a grey/white whispy glass which looks like the moon beams are shining on clouds.

What a good idea! I knew these were high rises at first glance. It's fantastic.
