Sometimes when I'm sitting in the studio wondering what to make next - the best thing to do is to pick up a black Sharpie marker and some paper and see what flows out of my fingertips.
The colors in this particular stained glass panel were inspired by a beautiful silk scarf that belongs to my daughter.
After drawing the pattern I walked around looking for colors to be used. When I saw the scarf hanging on the knob of the closet - I knew I had found the right colors.
