Circle Of Color

OK - so I take a dinner plate out of my kitchen cabinet and draw a circle around it using a Shapie marker.

Then using the same marker - I draw lines through the circle in order to create an abstract pattern which could be cut from glass.

Filling in the pattern with colorful glass of various sizes, shapes, colors and textures is the fun part of stained glass work.

This pretty piece is hanging in a window off the coast of California somewhere.
