(sold) - Work-In-Progress

NASCAR - The NASCAR race was just held in Phoenix at the Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) where Jeff Gordon took the checkered flag.

This stained glass piece was created specifically for that race.

During the course of the weekend, many people gather in their motorhomes from throughout the country. They place themselves in a circle (like the old covered wagons keeping the enemy at bay) while the fire pits burn brightly in the center of the post.

Instead of beans and wild game, the menu consists of baby back ribs, homemade chips and salsa, cole slaw and plenty of Tequila.

Instead of enemies there are plenty of new and old friends.

I guess there are plenty of people out there who like to watch cars driving around in circles making left-handed turns all day.
