From an Ants Perspective

I was out in my backyard yesterday evening and stumbled upon this little cluster of mushrooms growing wild.

A few years ago I had a beautiful 50-foot Arizona Ash tree growing in my yard which shaded the entire back side of my house from the summer sun. In Arizona - any shade is good shade. Especially shade from a 50-foot tall tree.

Anyway, now instead of a 50-foot tree I have 2-inch mushrooms growing in the same place.

So, from an ants perspective - a mushroom is just as good as a tree.
